PRICING & PAYMENTS

Using Service Hive is free.

• 
  You only pay for the service you book, at the price shown.
• 
  If a service provider is HST-registered, applicable HST will be added at checkout.
• 
  All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

• 
  Access to the Service Hive marketplace
• 
  Booking and job management tools
• 
  Invoicing and payment tracking
• 
  Customer support and dispute handling

This rate is well below most service marketplaces, which typically charge 15–30%.

• 
  Customer payments are collected securely via Stripe.
• 
  Earnings are credited to your Service Hive balance once a job is completed.
• 
  Payouts are transferred to your connected bank account through Stripe.

• 
  Collected HST is paid out to you along with your service earnings.
• 
  You are solely responsible for filing and remitting HST to the CRA.
• 
  Service Hive does not remit HST on behalf of service providers.

• 
  Minimum payout balance: $10
• 
  Payouts are processed on a weekly cycle
• 
  Final payout timing depends on Stripe and your bank (typically 3–5 business days)
• 
  No manual withdrawal requests are required once Stripe is connected.

• 
  Customer completes payment (service price + HST, if applicable)
• 
  Job is completed and confirmed
• 
  Service Hive deducts the 9.9% platform fee
• 
  Stripe applies its processing / payout fees
• 
  Remaining earnings (including HST, if applicable) are deposited into your bank account

All payout details are visible in Vendor Dashboard → Earnings.

Funds related to pending refunds or unresolved disputes may be temporarily held. Once resolved, eligible funds are released automatically.
