We aspire to bring our community together in one place, making it easy for you to find the right service, connect with trusted professionals, and get the support you need quickly and easily.

Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. You are also responsible for ensuring that any individuals accessing the Platform through your account comply with these Terms.

Eligibility to Use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to form a binding contract. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these eligibility criteria.

Account Registration

Users must create an account to access certain features of the Platform. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activities under your account. Service Hive reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for providing false information or for any misuse of the Platform.

Platform Usage

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform solely for personal or business purposes as permitted under these Terms. You agree not to use the Platform in any unlawful or harmful manner, including but not limited to:

Content Ownership and License User Content

By submitting content (including reviews, profiles, and service listings), you grant Service Hive a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, modify, distribute, and reproduce such content in connection with the operation of the Platform, including for marketing, promotional, and platform improvement purposes. You retain ownership of any content you submit but must ensure that it complies with these Terms and does not infringe the rights of any third party. Service Hive does not claim ownership of user-generated content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Service Providers' Responsibilities

Service Providers are responsible for ensuring that the services they offer comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including licensing and industry standards.

Service Hive reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Service Provider’s account if they violate the platform’s policies, engage in fraudulent behavior or defraud customers. Based on the severity of the violation, further legal action may be taken.

Booking and Payment Service

Service Hive facilitates the booking and payment process between Users and Service Providers. However, we are not liable for the services provided by the Service Providers. Payments for services are handled by third-party payment processors. Additional transaction fees may apply as set by the payment provider. Service Hive charges a 10% standard commission on transactions unless specified otherwise.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are subject to the specific policies set by the Service Provider. Service Hive does not offer refunds directly but will assist with disputes between Users and Service Providers. Any applicable refund procedures will be outlined in the specific cancellation policy provided by the Service Provider.

Intellectual Property

All materials on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of Service Hive or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any content from the Platform without prior written permission from Service Hive.

Privacy

Our use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a user and a Service Provider, Service Hive encourages both parties to resolve the matter amicably. However, Service Hive is not responsible for disputes and will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform. In the event of an unresolved dispute, both parties agree to submit the matter to binding arbitration as governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Mediation may be considered as an alternative dispute resolution method before arbitration. Both parties agree to waive their right to participate in any class-action lawsuits against Service Hive.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Service Hive shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to:

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Service Hive does not guarantee the quality, suitability, or safety of services provided by Service Providers.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Service Hive harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

Modifications to the Platform

Service Hive reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice.

Third-Party Links and Content

The Platform may include links to third-party websites or content. Service Hive does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy or availability of third-party content and is not responsible for any issues arising from your use of third-party services.

Termination

Service Hive reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform, at its discretion, if a user violates these Terms or engages in illegal activity. You may close your account at any time, but any outstanding bookings must be resolved before the account is fully terminated.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be updated on this page, and continued use of the Platform following the changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the local laws of the Provinces in Canada and USA. Any legal action or dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the local courts of Canada and USA

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Service Hive regarding the use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
